MO Senate President Expects Election Bills to Cross the Finish Line this Session

Missouri Senate President Dave Schatz (shots) says he expects bills that would change the election process to cross the finish line this session. He refers to a bill that would allow no-excuse absentee voting and a photo ID requirement to vote. The legislation awaiting Senate floor debate would let voters cast an absentee ballot up to three weeks before an election.

The state House has passed a similar measure that the Missouri Voter Protection Coalition says would put up barriers for thousands of eligible voters.
