Mo West Biology Professor Wins Fifth Straight ASPB Award

A Missouri Western biology professor has recently been named a winner of an American Society of Plant Biologists award for the fifth straight year.

Associate professor of biology at Missouri Western State University Dr. Csengele Barta was recently awarded a Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUI) Award of the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) for the fifth consecutive year.

The award recognizes excellence in research contributions to plant science, plant science scholarship, and undergraduate student research mentorship of faculty at primarily undergraduate serving institutions.
