MODOT Announces Winter Operations Positions Available

The Missouri Department of Transportation says hiring is underway for maintenance personnel for winter operations and other positions within the department.

There are several full-time maintenance and emergency maintenance equipment operator positions that are open across the state. The hourly salaries will range from $14.10 to $16.72 per hour. That will depend on level of experience and area of operation.

There could also be opportunities for year-round employment for mowing, striping, and other maintenance work on Missouri roads.

Full-time maintenance employees receive full training and a long list of other benefits including retirement, paid leave, medical, vision and dental insurance; and a culturally diverse workplace that is dedicated to safety and personal development. Applicants need to be at least 18 years old. and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening.
