MoDOT Public Meeting On Unfunded Transportation Needs Planned Tuesday In Maryville
The Missouri Department of Transportation is reminding area residents of the public meeting planned in Maryville Tuesday which will review the draft of unfunded transportation needs for the state and region.
MoDOT has developed a draft of High Priority Unfunded Needs list. It identifies $1.1 billion in annual unfunded transportation needs for the system. The list was created in the event that future funding becomes available for those types of projects. The list includes 3 tiers. Those tiers include projects which could be completed in the current 5-year plan and projects which would extended beyond the current STIP. Information about the list can be found on the Missouri Department of Transportation’s website. It will be available on the website through the end of this month, but a public meeting to provide face-to-face feedback will be held within the region Tuesday from 1 until 3pm at the Maryville Department of Public Safety Office, 101 N. Vine Street in Maryville.
