Monday Crash leaves Maryville Driver Hurt

A Monday morning accident involving a tree left a Maryville woman with moderate injuries.
Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Maryville resident Jordan M. Christensen was driving a 2008 Jeep SUV southbound on Interstate 229 a half mile north of St. Joseph Monday morning at about 6:55 A.M. when her vehicle slid off the right side of the interstate and struck a tree head-on.
Christensen was wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered moderate injuries. She was taken by Buchanan County EMS to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
