Motorcyclist Seriously Injured South of Cameron

A motorcyclist was seriously injured south of Cameron.
At 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, the Missouri Highway Patrol reports that 52-year-old Steven E. Steinmetz from Kansas City, Kansas was riding a Harley Davidson south on I-35.
Eight miles south of Cameron, he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Steinmetz was thrown from the motorcycle as his bike stopped on its side.
Cameron EMS transported Steinmetz to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
