Mound City Woman Injured in Holt County Crash Early This Morning

A Mound City woman suffered injuries in a Holt County crash this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 3:00 this morning on Route F at Route E, two miles south of Mound City, as 59-year-old Shelley L. Davis drove westbound.

Troopers say Davis began to skid on Route F, crossed Route E, went off the west side of the road, and struck a utility pole.

Davis suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic Life Care.

Authorities say Davis did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
