MU Extension Offering Feedlot School In Trenton

A two-day program from University of Missouri Extension focusing on the establishment of feedlots in the state has received significant demand from area producers. The next class is set for Thursday and Friday in Trenton, and extension beef nutritionist Eric Bailey previews the class.

A classroom component will take place on the North Central Missouri College campus. Bailey says interest in finishing cattle in Missouri is increasing as more producers are looking for processing options closer to their farm.
