MU Extension Planning Online Workshops To Prepare Cattle For Winter

The days are getting shorter, meaning time is also running short to adequately prepare cattle for the winter. University of Missouri Extension will host a series of online workshops starting next week to help producers retool their operations. Extension livestock field specialist Patrick Davis…
Sessions will also take place September 29th focusing on cow-calf feeding management and October 6th focusing on stocker cattle feeding management. Davis notes that drought in parts of the state will impact winter preparations.
The Cattle Winter Management Series will take place via Zoom and is free to attend. However, pre-registration is required by going to the University of Missouri Extension website.
