MU System States Marijuana Prohibition On Campus Grounds

(MISSOURINET) –  The University of Missouri System alerted students, faculty, and staff on Wednesday that, due to federal law, marijuana will continue to not be allowed on any university property, citing the Drug-Free Schools and Community Act. Due to marijuana’s classification by the federal government as a Schedule 1 controlled substance, any employee, student, or visitor is prohibited from possessing or using it on university property.
