Muddy Creek Bridge Maintenance Project Underway

One Livingston County Bridge is closing daily for the next two weeks for a maintenance project.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says beginning today, crews will close the Route KK bridge, over Muddy Creek, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to work on the bridge cap and pilings.

MO-DOT says work will continue through Thursday, October 17.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the daily daytime closures.

All work is weather permitting.

The Muddy Creek Bridge was built in 1960 and carries around 234 vehicles per day.
