Multiple Agencies Involved In Diagonal Man’s Arrest

Multiple agencies were involved in the investigation which led to the arrest of a Diagonal man on weapons and theft charges.

The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department reports 34 year old Joseph Cody Foster of Diagonal was arrested Thursday afternoon. He is charged with a Class D Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Felony 2nd Degree Theft. He also faces an Aggravated Misdemeanor charge of Domestic Abuse Assault or Use of a Weapon.

He has been booked into the Ringgold County Jail with bond set at $12,000.

The Taylor, Adams, and Page County Sheriff’s Department and the Iowa State Patrol were agencies involved in the arrest.

The arrest was made at 1:30pm.
