MU’s Family Violence Clinic Set To Open In January 2024

(Missouri Net) The Family Violence Clinic at the University of Missouri is set to reopen its doors in January 2024.

Paul Litton is dean of the MU School of Law. He explains to Missouri Net that it’s basically a class.

Litton explains that the funding is coming from the Missouri Legislature, through the budget, but that he also expects to raise finances through fundraising and applying for grants.

The reason for the clinic’s closure is due to a combination of a retirement and a hiring freeze from the COVID-19 pandemic. A search has begun for a professor to direct the clinic.
