MWSU Partners With Mosaic for Sports Medicine & Rehab Services

ST. JOSEPH, MO – Mosaic Life Care is now the official and exclusive medical provider for primary sports and rehabilitation services for Missouri Western student-athletes.

The move came just days after Alexander Thompson took over as the new head athletic trainer for the Griffons on November 21st.

Under the new arrangement, Mosaic Sports Medicine will provide Missouri Western with team physicians and seven full-time certified athletic trainers. Mosaic and the University will each pay a portion of the athletic trainers’ salaries. In addition, Mosaic will provide additional support services as needed, including physical therapists and assistance with billing arrangements and payments.
