Name Released of Body Found Tuesday in Buchanan County

Buchanan County authorities have released the name of a body found on Tuesday.

Reports say the body is that of 21-year-old Independence resident Arial Anne-Rae Starcher.

Starcher was discovered Tuesday afternoon, inside a duffel bag, by a Department of Transportation employee.

The sheriff’s office identified the body on Vincent Road, near Faucett.

Authorities are continuing to investigate this incident as a homicide.
