Nebraska Man Arrested on Drug & Driving Charges in Atchison County

Troopers report the arrest of a Brownville, Nebraska man Monday evening in Atchison County on drug and driving charges.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 52-year-old Steven M. Smith on preliminary charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to equip a motor vehicle with two approved tail lamps.

Authorities booked Smith into the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office on a 24-hour hold.
