Nebraska Man Injured in Andrew County Crash Monday

A Lincoln, Nebraska, man suffered injuries in an Andrew County crash Monday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 7:57 Monday morning on U.S. 59, two miles north of Savannah, as 21-year-old Shamar R. Sanker drove southbound.

Troopers say Sanker lost control, traveled off the west side of the road, overcorrected, traveled off the east side of the road, overcorrected, and overturned.

Sanker suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Saint Joseph.

Authorities say Sanker did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
