New St. Joe Police Chief Sworn In

The St. Joseph Police force officially has their new chief.

Monday new St. Joseph Police chief Paul Luster was sworn into duty at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center.

Luster comes to St. Joseph after spending more than 25-years as a part of the Kansas City Police Department. He was most recently in command of the Kansas City police Regional Training Academy where he oversaw recruiting and continuing education programs.

Former Police Chief Chris Connally retired in September. Since that point Dave Hart had served as the city’s interim police chief.
