DAVIS COUNTY, IA – A 19-year-old driver was killed in an accident on Sunday evening in Davis County, Iowa.

The Iowa State Patrol says 19-year-old Reese Jones was actively fleeing law enforcement on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed on Highway 63. Jones struck a pickup operated by a 17-year-old from Ottumwa which was stopped at an intersection.

The 17-year-old Ottumwa driver was not injured.
