No Charges in Officer Involved Shooting in Livingston County

No charges for the deputy involved in the shooting that occurred last month. As previously reported, the deceased suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Marceline, Missouri resident Timothy D. Frandson. According to Troop H of the Missouri Highway Patrol, the Livingston County deputy involved in the incident was treated for moderate injuries at an area hospital and was released from that facility.

A Facebook post from the Livingston County Prosecutor says, “After I read the reports, viewed scene photographs, heard dispatch recordings and listened to the Troopers’ analysis of all evidence gathered by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, I have no doubt that the use of force by Deputy Jordan Williams of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, February 19, 2021, was lawful and justified.”

Today I sat down again with the Missouri State Highway Patrol to review their investigation of the officer involved…
