No Excuse Absentee Voting a Hit in St. Joseph, Today’s the Last Day for Absentee Voting in Missouri

(MISSOURINET) –  No-excuse absentee voting is a hit, at least in the St. Joseph area. Buchanan County Circuit Clerk Mary Baake (BOCK) Garvey says since the no-excuse period began nearly two weeks ago, absentee voting has increased four-fold:

Today (Monday) is the last day Missourians can vote absentee, as the general election is tomorrow (Tuesday). You’ll still need a photo I-D to cast an absentee ballot, and you WON’T be allowed to cast a provisional ballot absentee. Those are only used on election day.
