Nodaway County Sheriff Randy Strong Will Not Seek Third Term

MARYVILLE, MO – Nodaway County Sheriff Randy Strong has stated that he does not intend to seek a third term in office. Sheriff Strong took office on January 1, 2017, and has served two terms in office. His second term will expire at the end of this year.

During his tenure, Sheriff Strong notes that his office has earned numerous life-saving awards, completed complex investigations and presented them for prosecution, partnered with the local victim’s advocacy center, and is part of the Sexual Assault Review Team that utilizes “best practices” to help sexual assault survivors.

Strong has committed to supporting current Captain Austin Hann bid for office in this year’s election.
