Norborne Man Suffers Serious Injuries in Monday Accident in Ray County

A Monday afternoon accident in Ray County left a Norborne man with serious injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route A, just south of Route E, when a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Mark L. Odell was heading northbound.

Trooper say Odell ran off the right side of the road, went airborne, and struck a deep ditch bank.

Odell was taken by Lifeflight to Truman Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities say Odell was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
