Norborne Mo-Dot Worker Seriously Injured In Accident

A Mo-Dot worker was seriously injured Thursday while attempting to load heavy equipment.

According to the accident report from troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 12:25 Wednesday Norborne resident 26-year-old Chilton D. Elliott was attempting to load a Mo-Dot roller truck onto a trailer when it overturned, striking a ditch.

Elliott was taken from the scene by air ambulance and transported to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment of serious injuries.
