Northwest Foundation Receives Seven New Members
Seven new members have been appointed to the Northwest Foundation, Incorporated. The Northwest Foundation grows private support for the university.
Ryan Hamilton is one of the new Foundation members. He is a Cainsville native and and 1993 alumnus of Northwest. He manages non-profit Hamilton Sports Complex which provides youth opportunities in Kansas City. He also worked with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Cerner Corporation as a senior vice president.
Other new members to the Northwest Foundation include Bilal Clarance of Google, Rodney Edge of the global logistics firm Materiel Solutions, Brian Hesse of the metal manufacturing distributor Perennial, previous member Angela Moskow, who is the daughter of Melvin and Valorie Booth, Burlington Junction native Deryk Powell of the technology provider Velociti, and Dr. Thomas Vansaghi who has experience in development and public relations and administration.
The new Northwest Foundation president is Leisha Beckemeyer Barry. The President-Elect is former Albany and Northwest graduate Ted Place of Kansas City.
