Northwest Missouri Multi-County Resurfacing Project Update
A resurfacing project continues on various routes in Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, and Mercer counties.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says crews are currently working on Mercer/Grundy Route A until August 2.
The second phase will resurface Mercer Route 145 from August 2-4.
Phase three will resurface Harrison/Mercer Route V from August 4-14.
For phase four, crews will resurface Daviess/Grundy Route P from August 14-22.
Finally, crews will resurface Daviess/Harrison Route K from August 22-September 6.
Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, expects to complete the project by mid-September.
During resurfacing, each route will be closed in up to two-mile sections.
Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closures.
Following resurfacing, crews will return to each route to install edge rock shoulders and add new pavement markings.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
