Northwest Missouri Trio Injured in Ray County Crash Late Sunday

Three northwest Missouri residents suffered injuries in a Ray County crash late Sunday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident happened at 9:00 Sunday night around West 164th Street in Lawson as 50-year-old Lawson resident John J. Hill drove northbound in a field.

Troopers say Hill overturned his Chevrolet Tahoe.

Hill and two passengers, a 15-year-old Lawson boy and 18-year-old Lathrop resident Sara Allyn suffered minor injuries.

Allyn and the teen sought treatment at Excelsior Springs Hospital.

Authorities say only Hill wore a seat belt at the time of the crash.
