Northwest Plans Spring And Summer Commencement Ceremony Saturday
Northwest Missouri State University will hold their rescheduled spring commencement ceremony this Saturday at Bearcat Stadium.
The ceremony will honor both spring and summer graduates and will begin at 6pm Saturday. All that attend will be expected to follow the mitigation measures that Northwest Missouri State has in place. That includes a requirement of face mask coverings and social distancing.
This year’s spring graduating class includes 929 students. The summer graduating class includes 349 students. There will be 755 bachelor’s degrees awarded, 511 master’s degrees, and 12 education specialists degrees.
The graduates range in age from 20 to 60. The class represents 9 countries and 23 states. 59 percent of the graduates will come from Missouri.
No tickets will be necessary to attend. The Bearcat Stadium gates will open to guests one hour prior to the ceremony. Northwest will provide a live online stream of the ceremony on www.nwmissouri.edu/live.
