November Offender Death at Western Missouri Correctional Center Reported

The Missouri Department of Corrections has announced the death of an inmate in November at the Western Missouri Correctional Center in Cameron.
According to the information released, offender William Maddox (DOC No.152221) was pronounced dead at 4:41 A.M. on Friday, November 19 at the Correctional Center.
Maddox was a 74 year-old male serving a 25-year sentence for kidnapping, two counts of armed criminal action, and attempted kidnapping from Jackson County. He was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on May 9, 2003.
The Department of Corrections says an autopsy will be conducted.
