NTA Ambulance Moving 911 Service to Linn County

BETHANY, MO – The NTA Ambulance Board of Directors has elected to move 911 dispatching services for NTA Ambulance District to the Linn County, Missouri 911 Center. The change is to take effect today.

Harrison County residents who need an ambulance can call 911 as normal. The call will go to the Harrison County 911 Center. A Harrison County Communications Officer will ask if the caller needs police, fire, or EMS and ask for your location. For those in the NTA district needing medical assistance, the call will be transferred to Linn County which will then dispatch an ambulance. The Harrison County 911 Center will remain on the line until Linn County picks up the call.

Linn County will then handle the radio traffic and tracking of the NTA ambulance.
