NWMSU Student Regent Appointment Announced By Governor

Missouri Governor Mike Parson announced a Northwest Missouri State student and junior political science major from Kansas City as the next appointment as student regent to the board. Connor Thompson’s appointment will be effective immediately. The appointment also must be confirmed by the Missouri state to be official. Northwest’s Board of Regents is responsible for sound resource management of the University and determining general, educational and financial policies. According to state statutes, one member must be a non-voting student representative.
