Offender’s Death Reported From Chillicothe Correctional Center

The Missouri Department of Corrections is reporting an offender’s death this week from the Chillicothe Correctional Center.
Offender Claudette Pate died at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City Tuesday evening.
The 56-year-old Pate was serving a 12-year sentence for forgery and delivery or possession of a weapon at a county or private jail from Crawford County.
The Department of Corrections received Pate in March 2016.
Reports say Pate died of apparent natural causes.
