Oklahoma Driver Escapes Serious Injuries Following Rollover And Vehicle Fire
A one vehicle accident on I-35 north of Eagleville injured an Edmund, Oklahoma driver and resulted in a rollover and vehicle fire Thursday evening.
The Highway Patrol reports 43 year old Courtney Kaiser of Edmund, Oklahoma was driving northbound on I-35 and went off the side of the roadway and into the median. The vehicle traveled over the emergency crossover and eventually overturned two times. The vehicle then landed on its wheels and caught fire.
The vehicle was totaled in the accident, but the driver received minor injuries and was taken to Decatur County Hospital.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, the Leon and Lamoni Police Departments, the North Harrison Fire Department, and the North Harrison Ambulance assisted the Highway Patrol.
The accident took place Thursday evening at 6:15pm.
