Oklahoma Man Injured in Harrison County Crash Early This Morning

A Leedey, Oklahoma, man suffered injuries in a Harrison County crash early this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 12:15 this morning on I-35, four miles south of Lamoni, Iowa, as 26-year-old Joshua K. Hawkins drove southbound.

Troopers say Hawkins attempted to avoid a vehicle blocking both southbound lanes of I-35, traveled off the west side of the road, and overturned his Kenworth.

Hawkins suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Decatur County Hospital.

Authorities say Hawkins did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
