Omaha Man Injured in Atchison County Crash This Morning

An Omaha, Nebraska, man suffered injuries in an Atchison County crash this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 5:03 this morning on I-29 as 31-year-old Mohamed Abdirahman drove a Peterbilt northbound.

Troopers say Abdirahman traveled off the right side of the road and struck a towed unit of a vehicle parked on the shoulder.

Abdirahman suffered minor injuries and sought treatment via Atchison-Holt Ambulance.

Authorities say Abdirahman did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
