Omaha Pair Injured in I-29 Crash Tuesday Night
Two Omaha, Nebraska residents were injured in an Andrew County crash Tuesday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-29, almost four miles south of Fillmore, when a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Brian K. Anderson was heading northbound.
Troopers say Anderson suffered a medical condition and passed out at the wheel of his Freightliner.
His vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, became airborne, continued north into the median, and struck an overhead-bridge before coming to a rest.
Anderson was taken by Lifenet to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of serious injuries.
A passenger in the vehicle, Anderson’s 16-year-old son, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Mosaic for treatment.
Troopers say both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
