One Dead Another Critically Injured In shooting At Platte City Wendy’s

One man is dead and another is at an area hospital with critical injuries after a shooting outside of the Wendy’s restaurant in Platte City Wednesday evening.

Authorities say the shooting happened around 6:30 Wednesday night in the 1400 block of Platte Falls Road, but authorities say it had nothing to do with the restaurant.

Once on scene law enforcement says they found two male victims, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene, the other suffered from critical injuries.

The Platte City Police Department has requested the Metro Squad to assist in the investigation.

There’s been no arrest in the case.
