Opening day of the Missouri State Fair brought out crowds of people to ride the rides, enjoy the live entertainment and weather, see the exhibits, as well as eat their favorite fair foods.
Anita Anderson, of Greenwood, says the last time she was at the fair was about 20 years ago.

The State Fair continues through August 21 in west-central Missouri’s Sedalia.
