Oregon Man Arrested on Drug & Driving Charges in Holt County Sunday

A Medford, Oregon man was arrested on drug and driving charges Sunday morning in Holt County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Avery C. Matthews was arrested on preliminary charges of speeding (84 in a 60 mph work zone), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana, and felony possession of a controlled substance of psychedelic mushrooms.

Matthews was taken to the Holt County Sheriff’s Office and later released.
