Oregon, Mo Man Hurt In One Car Crash

An Oregon, Missouri man escaped major injuries after his truck went off road Monday evening and hit a concrete barrier.

The Highway Patrol says 74-year-old Oregon resident Thomas L. Williams was driving a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 eastbound on Missouri Route 111 in Forest City Monday evening at 6:05 P.M. when the truck went off the south side of roadway.

Once off road the truck hit a concrete barrier and continued down an embankment before coming to rest on its wheels facing east.

Williams was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered minor injuries. He was taken by private vehicle to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
