Orrick Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Sunday Accident

An Orrick man was left with serious injuries after a one vehicle crash in Ray County Sunday night.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 61-year-old Danny R. Shirley was driving a 2005 Chevy Impala on Route O north of Brashears Road in Ray County at 9 P.M. Sunday when his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

Shirley was not wearing a seat belt at the time and suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was taken from the scene by Life Flight and delivered to Truman Medical Center for treatment.
