Osceola Resident Killed In Clarke County Accident

An Osceola resident died following a one vehicle accident north of Osceola in Clarke County.

The Iowa State Patrol reports 24 year old Dignan Ray Forry of Osceola was traveling eastbound on Scott Street in Clarke County at a high rate of speed, topped a hill, and lost control of the vehicle, went into a ditch, and landed in a field. Both the driver and a passenger were thrown from the vehicle. Neither were wearing a safety device.

Dignan Forry died from injuries in the accident. 24 year old Kayle Jo Burke of Carlisle was flown to a hospital in Des Moines.

The accident took place at 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

Multiple agencies assisted the Iowa State Patrol.
