Two out of state residents were arrested on drug charges Thursday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Modesto, California resident Hunter G. Simms and 23-year-old Springfield, Oregon resident Allexcis A. Jones were both arrested just before 9:40 a.m.

Simms faces three charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana, unlawful use of paraphernalia, and speeding.

Jones faces three charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana, and unlawful use of paraphernalia.

Both Jones and Simms were taken to the Andrew County Jail and booked on 24-hour holds.
