Overturned Vehicle in Injury Accident in Buchanan County

A man was injured in an accident in Buchanan County when his vehicle overturned.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 20-year-old Lawrence E. Smith was injured after his vehicle overturned after striking a median cable with the front of the vehicle while heading south on I-29.
Smith had been traveling south in the Interstate, three miles south of Faucett when at around 5 pm Tuesday the vehicle ran off the left side of the road.
The vehicle came to rest upside down on the northbound passing lane of I-29. Smith was taken to North Kansas City Hospital.
