Pair Arrested On Drug Felonies In Andrew County

Two area individuals were arrested Tuesday afternoon in Andrew County on drug felonies.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 36-year-old St. Joseph resident James G. Pace and 26-year-old Hamilton resident Alexis A. McDonald at 3:30 Tuesday for felony possession of a controlled substance.

Pace was also arrested on charges of felony resisting arrest by fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding at 117 miles-per-hour in a 70 miles-per-hour zone, failing to display valid license plates, and following too closely.

Both Pace and McDonald were booked into the Andrew County Law Enforcement Center on 24-hour holds.
