Parkville Man Drowns at Smithville Lake Sunday Night

A Parkville man drowned at Smithville Lake late Sunday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the drowning happened around 8:20 Sunday night at Smithville Lake, near Little Platte Park, as 32-year-old Bektemir Yusupov went under the water and did not resurface.
