Parnell Teen Injured in Saturday Morning Nodaway County Crash

A Parnell, Missouri teen suffered injuries in a Nodaway County crash Saturday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 8:35 Saturday morning on 275th Street, a half-mile east of Maryville, as a 17-year-old male drove westbound.

Troopers say the teen crossed the center line and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by 40-year-old Maryville resident Melissa S. Tyler.

The teen suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Maryville.

Authorities listed no injuries for Tyler.

Troopers say only Tyler wore a seat belt at the time of the crash.
