Parson Talks About Next Supreme Court Judge Appointment

A statewide commission is interviewing 22 candidates next week who are interested in becoming the next Missouri Supreme Court judge.

Judge George Draper the Third is retiring – leaving a spot to fill on the high court. Once the commission forwards its recommendations to Governor Mike Parson, he will decide who will get the job.

Some of the noteworthy names being interviewed include State Senator Tony Luetkemeyer of Parkville and Chris Limbaugh, current Cole County Associate Circuit Judge and Governor Parson’s former legal counsel.
