Parson to Hold Ceremonial Signings on Foster Care and Adoption Bills

Governor Parson plans to hold ceremonial signings this week for two bills about foster care and adoption. The legislation aims to give more Missouri foster children a chance to find permanent homes by expanding current tax credits for adoption. The other would allow an income tax deduction for foster care expenses. Representative Hannah Kelley, a Republican from southern Missouri’s Mountain Grove, is sponsoring the bills.

The bill signings are planned for Thursday afternoon at the Missouri Capitol in Jefferson City.
