Pattonsburg Pair Injured in Daviess County Crash Wednesday

Two Pattonsburg residents suffered injuries in a Daviess County crash Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 4:45 Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 69, a mile south of Pattonsburg, as 38-year-old Kristina A. Sandborg drove southbound.
Troopers say a northbound vehicle struck Sandborg head-on as they attempted to turn from U.S. 69 to Forest Avenue.
Sandborg suffered serious injuries and sought treatment at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
A passenger in Sandborg’s vehicle, a 17-year-old male from Pattonsburg, suffered minor injuries and also sought treatment at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Authorities say everyone involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
